Cornfield - I've decided to start adding some colour photos to my site amongst the b&w. Suffolk - This was taken in January 2008 and is a favourite spot of a good friend of mine who's been coming here since childhood Brighton - I took this photo while in Brighton for a music festival earlier this year 2007. It's a digital photograph - but then you knew that Halong Bay - Vietnam - Magnificent Halong Bay is undoubtedly the natural wonder of Vietnam. Picture 3000 or more incredible islands rising from the emerald waters of the Gulf of Tonkin and you have a vision of greatness. In 1994 it was designated Vietnam's second World Heritage site. The city is now known as the place where Mel Gibson filmed Matera - Southern Italy - This photograph was taken in Matera, southern Italy. It wasn't until well into the 20th century that the sassi had sewage connections and electricity. The houses were abandoned in the '50s, when the government, embarrassed by the descriptions of the poverty amongst the people of the sassi found in Carlo Levi's tale of his own exile Christ Stopped in Eboli, relocated the residents to modern housing. The sassi are slowly being repopulated as trendy digs by artistic types. August 2006. The photograph was developed in Lith.
Matera 5 - This photograph was shot in Matera, Southern Italy. The city was used as the backdrop for Mel Gibson's Open Road -- Cuba - This picture was taken on the road from Maria La Gorda on the way to Havana, Cuba. There really never seemed to be a problem with traffic congestion!! Swimming Pool - This picture was taken in Cuba 2005. The resort was like something left from the 60's. Nothing had changed. The decor, canteen & rooms were exactly as you would have imagined them to be 40 years ago. Vinales - Cuba - This photograph was taken in Vinales. The original appears in the colour section - this has been treated by the wonders of photoshop. It's still a very new experience for me and I'm not 100% comfortable with it yet - its a very different emotion to being in the dark room!
